Fireground transmissions from the Richman Plaza job, box 4723.
-
Fireground transmissions from an all-hands up in Riverdale.
- He who stretches last, supplies last.
- Engine 52 first due at box 3900, in quiet, exclusive Fieldston. They find heavy fire, and transmit a second, moments after giving an all-hands on arrival.
- A handi-talkie message from
a zealous Battalion Chief aide arriving at 3900. I think BC15 was the 10-75 chief at that box.
- Mixed fireground/dispatch from 3900.
- At 2-2-3900, a Fieldston mansion crumbles.
- At 2-2-3900, Division
4 orders everyone out, preparing for an exterior attack.
- Outdated mains made getting
water difficult at this box.
- Bat. 27 Chief getting a little
antsy when fire ravages a vacant private house on Bailey Place, and 46 Truck has no water
yet.
- Tower Ladder 46 speeding
up Bailey Avenue, K.
- Chaos on the fireground
as companies seem to lose track of which Engine is supplying which Tower Ladder.
- Even though this is dispatch, this counts as "fireground" - note the saws cutting open the roof in the background.
- More of 3538 - E081 reporting fire in the basement to BC27.
