Since April of 2002, I have been using an Olympus C-4040 Zoom Camera, with an Olympus FL-40 TTL Dedicated Flash, connected with an Olympus FL-BK01 bracket, and Olympus FL-CB01 TTL-TTL cable. I have 2 128MB SmartMedia cards, a 64MB SmartMedia Card, a 32MB SmartMedia Card and a 16MB SmartMedia card (included with camera). The unit is powered by 4 AA size batteries and the flash is also powered by 4 AA size batteries. I purchased the Olympus B-50SU Quick Charger which came with 4 AA Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, and purchased several aftermarket packages of AA NiMh for a total of 20 batteries, or four complete sets, which allows me to power the camera and flash, have a complete set for backup of the camera and flash, and one set on standby. The camera has 4.1 Megapixel resolution, and the flash is capable of auto zooming along with the lens. The images can be stored in a number of sizes, as indicated below, along with the number of images (approximately) that can be stored on various SmartMedia Cards.

This is the size that I shoot in, and when printed on Kodak Ultima Picture Paper for inkjet printers, using an Epson Stylus Photo 700 at 1440 dpi, an 8 X 10 image is comparable to a photo taken with a 35mm film camera.
I have been very impressed with the camera, and would recommend it to anyone that is looking to move to digital photography from film, or looking to upgrade their digital camera.
