Brooklyn, NY Approx 0300 hrs. 11/11/01. Members of Engine Company 326 Received an uninvited guest when the driver of a Ford Excursion lost control, crashed through a chain link fence and through the overhead apparatus door, hitting the house watch and the front of the apparatus. The rig was moved about 2 feet. The firefighter on house watch sustained a minor leg injury, and the driver of the Excursion was arrested and charged with DWI. Rescue 2 was special called to remove the remains of the overhead door.
Brooklyn, NY Approx. 0100 hrs. 11/11/01. A second alarm was transmitted on box 936 shortly after arrival for a fire in a four story vacant structure at 362 Tomkins Av. Exterior operations were conducted due to the volume of fire, and a thermal imaging camera was used to find hidden spots of fire.

Boston, MA approx. 1520 hrs 9/4/01. A fire that started from faulty wiring in a lamp quickly spread to involve 4 wood frame three deckers, and threaten other exposures. Five alarms were required to bring the fire under control, and foam was used to smother the fire in the cockloft areas. Photos are from approx. 1700 hrs.
