Woburn, MA approx. 1730 hrs 6/5/01. The first due companies found a heavy fire condition in an attic upon arrival. A second alarm was sounded very quickly, and an additional engine company was required to bring this fire under control. The location of the building on a dead end allowed access to the first due engine and truck only, making operations difficult.

Brockton, MA approx. 2330 hrs. 5/20/01. Brockton firefighters battled a fire in a 2 1/2 story wood frame that extended from the first floor through the eaves. These photos are from about 35 minutes into the fire.

Hampton Beach, NH approx 1645 hrs 5/12/01. 5 Alarms were needed to control a fire in a larger 3 story wood frame structure on Ocean Boulevard. These photos are from about 1 hour into the fire. There will be more photos of this fire by Steve Perkins on the Guest Photos page in a few days.

Mattapoiset, MA approx 2330 hrs 5/10/01 (Photos from approx. 0045 hrs 5/11/01). Companies from Mattapoiset and Fairhaven fought a fire in a large Cape style home. All companies were ordered out of the building, as the fire took posession of the structure. These photos are of overhaul operations, as it was a long ride from Boston.

Allenstown, NH approx. 1520 hrs 5/8/01. A fourth alarm was transmitted within minutes of arrival for a fire that eventually went to seven alarms and sparked a forest fire that required an additional eight alarm response to contain. The fire consumed a barn, a garage and a large portion of a house. The photos are from late in the fire, as it was a 60 mile drive, and the local Sheriff's department (the local police at the scene were very nice) was very uncooperative, resulting in a walk through about 2 miles of woods to get to the scene.

Camden, NJ, approx 0035 hrs 4/16/01. Fast work by Camden firefighters resulted in a great stop of a fire in a church located at 908 Chelton St, on the corner of South 9th Street. A third alarm assignment was required for the extensive overhaul work that followed. The fire occurred during a heavy downpour, which kept the smoke low, and the photo opportunities to a minimum.

Winslow Township, NJ, approx. 1430 hrs 4/15/2001. A motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of White Horse Pike and Pump Branch Road escalated to a Hazardous Materials Response after the gas tank on one of the vehicles ruptured.
